Footballer David Beckham and his Fashion designer wife Victoria have finally arrived with their three children to Los Angeles, to kickstart a new life there. The celebrity family was greeted by a trail of reporters and photographers.
Barricades were set up at Los Angeles International Airport to give the event a red carpet feel. The powerful couple walked hand in hand as they de-boarded their British Airways flight and walked out of the terminal.
Their presence was marked by swarms of inquisitive onlookers, though not many knew what the event was.
The midfielder, who helped Real Madrid win the Spanish title last month, will now be a part of Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer. He will debut in a match against Chelsea on July 21 in Carson, California.
Beckham is assumed to pocket around $32.5 million over five years with the Galaxy and much more in endorsement deals.
The couple will be staying in their newly acquired $22 million, 13,000-square foot villa in Beverly Hills.
