Catherine Zeta-Jones looked thinner but that does not mean she is anorexic, she insisted. She said that to maintain her svelte looks she was simply exercising and eating right. She debunked the reports that said she had an ‘eating disorder’. Speaking at the Savannah Film Festival, she wondered how she could ‘ever, ever be anorexic’. She also told that she loved bread but was not eating any these days in order to remain fit.

Catherine joined her husband Michael Douglas and her kids, Dylan (7) and Carys (4) at the Savannah College of Art and Design’s 10th Annual Savannah Film Festival. Michael Douglas was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the cinema.

Michael Douglas joked about his receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award. He said:

As far as a lifetime achievement award goes, you always think, ‘Have they talked to your doctor?

He further said that due to the award, his kids knew what exactly their father did. He joked:

Dylan is 7 and Carys is 4. I don’t have a movie that they can see. So up until tonight, they knew mommy is an actress and daddy makes pancakes. So thank you. Now they know what their father does.

Douglas expressed his gratitude towards his father, Kirk Douglas, for his unflinching support and his mentor, Karl Malden.
