According to US magazine reports, Halle Berry, 41 and her model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, 32 has named their daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry. Nahla was born on Sunday and is Berry’s first child. Nahla is the name that is not commonly found and is associated with African or Arabic descent.

The couple had met two years ago while shooting for a commercial in Versace in Los Angeles. When Berry was asked about marriage plans, she had said that she and Aubry had no plans for marriage and they were committed to each other.

Berry’s well known movies include ‘Catwoman’, the ‘X-Men’ movies and the Bond film ‘Die Another Day’ and she has won an Emmy and a best actress Academy Awards so far.
