Joey McIntyre and wife Barrett have become proud parents of a baby boy. The newborn weighing 7 lb. 12 oz. arrived on November 20, 2007 in Los Angeles. Joey is expected to disclose newborn’s name on his website and is full of admiration for Barret after baby’s birth. He said:

My wife is a rock star!

Both new mommy and baby are doing fine. The excitement of baby’s arrival has become manifold as he made into the family before Thanksgiving Day.

McIntyre, 34, and Barrett, 29, walked down the aisle on August 9, 2003. The couple came to know about the pregnancy on St. Patrick’s Day this year. On knowing that Barret is expecting, McIntyre had told People magazine in June:

Being an Irish guy that’s a good luck charm!
