Las Vegas residents unhappy with semi-nude Beyonce billboards!

Las Vegas residents may boast that they live in the most entertaining and fashionable city, but the fact is that they are pretty traditional when they find obscenity publicly displayed.

The recent semi-nude Beyonce Knowles’ billboards, which offended the locals, has well exposed the ‘traditional’ side of the residents.

Beyonce had posed in a bikini for ad of KWNZ, city’s radio station, but the Sin City locals got so offended seeing her in innerwear that they are now planing to raise their voice against the ‘obscene’ advert.

Resident Pamela Keeney responded to the ad as she said:

It’s obscene. I have my two little grandkids coming over here, and they don’t need to be seeing that. You can change the channel on the TV but you can’t change that.

Very true Pamela! But sadly KWNZ officials may have not faced this reality of life and are persistent to carry on with the bikini-clad Beyonce ads.

The city spokesman Chris Good who is also backing KWNZ had his say that the advert follows all the locational criteria that are set out in the advertising code of conduct.

The manager of KWNZ Scott Seidenstricker said:

The billboards were taken from publicity shots and this is the way those people perform. So to show them in a jogging suit probably wouldn’t be the right thing.

The anger of the residents seems justified, as the huge billboards have blocked the scenic beauty of the place, and were put up without prior notification to the locals.
