Geri Halliwell has requested her former Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham to be godmother to her daughter Bluebell. On the other hand, George Michael’s partner Kenny Goss will be godfather to the baby born in may last year.
11 months old, Bluebell will be christened this weekend in a small private affair in Hampstead, North West London, which will be attended by Posh with her two sons Brooklyn and Romeo. George Michael will also be present on the ceremony.
British screenwriter Sacha Gervasi, who is presently working on upcoming Dallas movie in Los Angeles is said to be the biological father of the baby girl. Gervasi, Geri’s ex is not expected to attend the ceremony.
The ceremony will see the presence of all the Spice Girls including Melanie, 33, and Emma Bunton, 31- whose first baby is due later this year, except for Mel B, who has recently given birth to her second daughter in Los Angeles.
An unnamed source said,
Victoria was thrilled to be asked to be godmother. Although they fell out when Geri walked out on the Spice Girls years ago, they became really close again. Geri’s relied on her old friend for advice on motherhood and is delighted Victoria is flying over. Kenny will be godfather - so she will have interesting godparents.
